Here We Go!

Welcome to my blog!

I've read many blogs over the last couple of years, since I had my daughter. I can say I'm a bit intimidated as most blogs I follow are from very clever, talented and articulate ladies who can be quite funny. I don't claim to be any of these things (cue supportive husband rolling his eyes).

So why blog? This is for me. If others get something from it that is great and I hope in the future this will be the case.

Daft drafting and dressmaking will cover my attempts to draft patterns for myself and daughter and make clothes for us. I expect it will cover other things as well.

I am hoping by having a blog I will have a log of what has worked and what hasn't. It may also shame me into being more productive!
